'Greetings'-a perfect medium to convey your feelings to near and dear ones. But, have you ever wondered about that flowery (I think over flowery would be more appropriate) language that is used in cards. Can you even imagine to say those 'ultra-sweet' words to a friend with whom you share all your naughty or weird thoughts? I guess even if you want to let your friend know what he/she means to you, you can convey it in the casual language that is used between best of buddies (thumbs up if you agree)! 

Olga Krigman is one such designer who would definitely agree with me. Olga is a creative, witty and funny designer behind creating 'Offensive plus Delightful' cards. After seeing her designs, I have truly become her follower! And it is quite natural on my part to interview her and know more offensive and delightful things about her.

Hello there!

Tell us about the inception of 'Offensive Plus Delightful'. When did it form? What inspired you to do what you're doing?

Simply, I stole the idea from my best friend.





































What influences the designer within you?

Other amazing designers, and wanting to beat them.








































Share your fondest memory with 'O Plus D'.

Every time I get a big order online, I just thank God that I don't have to go into an office and talk to anyone about my weekend.




































What's your mission with using non-flowery language for your cards? Is that the USP of your cards?

I just write how I would want to speak to my friends, and create cards that really don't exist.






































How would you react to some of the negative reactions for some of your designs?

I haven't had any negative reactions, except once, but then i promptly fired her.


Share one best compliment you've ever received for your work.

Every time someone buys a card, that's a compliment for me!




































I know it is a difficult one but do you have any favourite card(s)?

They are all my children, but yes, some are more brilliant than others, anything with pure type is usually my favorite.

Are there any plans to open a physical shop of 'O Plus D' as well?

That's a dream.

What is your vision for 'O Plus D' as a whole?

If ever i come into a large sum of money, I would love to create (dare I say it) a LIFESTYLE brand.
