When you sell your products online you will very likely build a mailing list of your customers, and if you sell your products in person you might add to that list. But what do you do with that list?

You can send newsletters, let your buyers know what is going on with your company or even send them updates on the products they purchased. You may also want to try and sell a product they might like directly to them. For example, you might make a special deal available to your previous buyers or offer them a product before you make it available to the general public.

Since e-junkie provides purchase buttons as basic HTML code, you can easily do this.

The basic HTML code that we provide includes two URLs:
<a href="https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=XXXXX&cl=XXXXX&ejc=2" target="ej_ejc" class="ec_ejc_thkbx" onClick="javascript:return EJEJC_lc(this);"><img src="http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/ej_add_to_cart.gif" border="0" alt="Add to Cart"/></a>

The first one is the purchase URL:
https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=XXXXX&cl=XXXXX&ejc=2

The second is the image URL:
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/ej_add_to_cart.gif

The one that you want to include in an e-mail is the first one, the purchase URL.  It would be as simple as telling the people on your mailing list about  your product and telling them if they are interested in getting it to use the link, then just paste the URL into the e-mail.

You can even use this option in our Newsletter feature if you want.

But you can do so much more with just that URL if you wish.  For example, you can post it on your business’ Facebook page, to allow people to purchase a product directly from Facebook.  Or you can post it on Twitter and people can purchase it from there, you may have followers on Twitter who are not on your mailing list.

As always, if there is anything you are wondering how to do in e-junkie, feel free to send our support staff an e-mail here.
