According to Brett, "After the design inspiration, we put forth laminate, hardwood, and sketch designs to produce in collaboration with our manufacturer; the first prototype. After two minor adjustments with the wood grain design work, we had our first shell manufactured and ready for a casing. The actual grain design is a combination of cherry, maple, and oak with a modern touch."
The charger looks very similar to a piece of wood with power pins and USB socket and can perfectly fit any power socket.
Currently, the product is being funded on Kickstrarter. The money raised from this campaign would be used for purchasing a larger order as well as continuing to design supplemental products to make the iWoody look this stylish and earthy.
iWoody's estimated delivery date is June 2014.If you like what you see you can help Brett and Steven reach their pledged goal before 11th May, 2014.
