Technology is supposed to make our lives easy and to an extend it does but what happens when it goes out of its way? It makes our lives SUPER easy! PiePal is one example of that.
Have you ever had that untimely pizza craving where you are too lazy to even grab your phone and hit dial, let alone the fact that you are required to talk to a human on the other end when making your order?
PiePal is the right product for you!
PiePal is a button, which when pushed orders Domino's Pizza to your doorstop. No joking here, it actually does. Designed by the folks at iStrategyLabs, PiePal is a 3D printed button and LEDs put together that easily connects to the internet via WiFi.
The inside of the device is powered by a Raspberry Pi and Arduino combination. According to iSL, "Like many of iSL’s Social Machines, the PiePal is powered completely by JavaScript, using Node.js. Some tricky reverse-engineering allowed us to set up an API wrapper around Dominos’ amazing online ordering system, which handles everything from finding the closest store to tracking the status of each order."
As ridiculous as PiePal may sound, it is a real product in development. You can find out more about PiePal in the demo video below or sign up as a "beta taster" by visiting PiePal.me.

To use this device just turn the dial to select the number of pizzas you want to order. Then push the button and voila your order is send. The LED lights up when your order has been confirmed. All that your need to do now is wait for your pizza to arrive.
