It was in 2012 that Twitter rolled out a new change to beautify the user's profile interface by allowing them to add a Header Image.

Like Facebook's famous Cover Photo, Header Images are for Twitter. While individual user accounts can have personal pictures to anything of their choice, but when it comes to business accounts, there is a message you send out with every image that you post.

It is a marketing opportunity too. Remember how we spoke of the "relevancy" and "context" factors in our previous post on Facebook ads. This point can be typically applied to creating magic on your Twitter handles too.

It is an age of context marketing. Abstractness is good so long as the customers make a connection with your degree of "abstract ideas". So do not go too haywire or absolutely drag. In most cases the idea with putting up a header image is to recreate your brand imagery via logos, product descriptions, events, employee experiences etc. among the customer cliques.

Just funk up your Twitter business account with some of these image editing ideas that we have for you today:

1. TwitrCovers

A free site that helps find and embed the most beautiful pictures for your Header Image, TwitrCovers best feature is that it allows users to have a demo view of how a picture actually would look once it is made into a header. The embedding is also easy. All one needs to do is find "Make this my Twitter Cover Now" tab to have it on your account. The second way is to download the image you like manually from an option that occurs on the right hand corner of each hosted image and click "Save Image As". On your Twitter profile, you also get to choose how enlarged you want the image to be so that it doesn't really look borrowed from TwitrCovers. To narrow down your search, the site facilitates you with a image search box on the top right hand corner of the homepage. They currently have 8,600 followers on Twitter.
