Every Flash fan knows this quote by heart and why not... it's one of the most famous quote from the comic series.

What is it about these superheroes that really captivates us?

Their lives and their words - it all very involving. They are imaginary human beings but they really add meaning to our lives and their words inspire every inch of us. Proving this fact right, a US-based illustrator and graphic designer Adam Thompson has created a poster series of inspirational quotes from DC Comics heroes like Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, etc.

Realizing that the oath sworn by Green Lantern is applicable to real life, Adam started working on this poster series. He re-purposed the artwork of Jim Lee, Brian Buccellato, and some other artists and combining it all with his unique minimalistic style, he designed these posters.

According to Adam, "In my mind, one of the most famous pieces of comics dialogue is the oath sworn by Green Lantern. I gave this some deeper thought and realized that the oath is, in a way, applicable to real life. Anyone, should they choose, can swear an oath to stand against evil. Then it hit me. Have all comic heroes said things that are applicable in real life? Have they all said things that can inspire any of us, comic fan or not?"
