Google Glass this, Google Glass that!

There has been a lot of buzz about the Google Glass for sometime, like the Google Glass pick up lines, Google Glass on historical biggies or Google Glass updates. If you ask me, until someone comes up with a potential Google Glass competition in the market, the market would always be ablaze with news related to the Google Glass.

Well, in case if you're waiting to own your very own Google Glass, I've got a cheaper in fact, free option for you. These glasses (image on the left) are not exactly Google Glass but they are 3D printed replicas of Google's best invention so far.

These 3D printed glasses are the brain child of two Amsterdam techies, Sander Veenhof and Klasien van de Zandschulp. Both of them have been walking around sporting these glasses quite for sometime now. When they were first spotted wearing these glasses everyone was awestruck but soon they realized that these glasses were not exactly Google Glass but their 3D replicas.

These glasses look a lot like the Google Glass in respect to the design, with a small transparent display that was cut and fixed manually. The design is based on Google sketchup warehouse model.
