64 year old Benjamin Kyle suffers from something known as dissociative amnesia. He was found with injuries on this head, almost blind with no idea of how he got there and without any identification papers. Therefore, the authorities couldn't give him a social security number, due to which he couldn't get a job or register to a homeless shelter.
It truly is a uniquely sad story of a man who has no idea where more than half of his life went, and to make matters worth, his future seems to be as blurred as his past. And this where art came into the picture.
Miquel Endara is one of those many people who genuinely want to help Kyle so he decided to create a unique piece of art to collect as much fund as possible. So he painstakingly created Kyle's portrait using stippling technique where he made 2.1 million dots over 138 hours, to create a lifelike portrait of Benjamin Kyle.
Endara is selling the print for $90 each, out of which half of the amount will go to Kyle, and hopefully help him build a new life. You can visit this link to help if you like.
