Vegas is a city that does complete justice to its name - Sin City. A place where secrets are left behind and confessions are hard to come by. But Candy Chang has turned the tide by working on a public art project where people confessed their dark secrets; anonymously of course.

'Confessions' a project organized by The Cosmopolitan and Art Production Fund transformed the hotel's art gallery into a confession hub where people wrote their secrets on wooden plaques. The plaques were later displayed in the gallery, she also painted some confessions on the big canvasses.

The idea was to let gamblers and hotel guests browse through secrets of complete strangers and also admit to something that they wouldn't if it wasn't for the anonymity.

According to her website the inspiration for this project comes from Catholicism, Post Secret and Shinto shrine prayer walls. "When you think about Vegas, you think about 'What happens here, stays here,'" she shares with The Atlantic. "It made me wonder, what would I want to know from all the people around me in Vegas? Was there a way we could actually share our confessions in a safe way in public space together?"

As a result, more then 1500 confessions were made and displayed on the walls of The Cosmopolitan, confessions like I eat too much cheese, I still love her two girlfriends and five years later, I'm 30 and I've never had an orgasm, I stole 15,000 from the company I work for and many more like these. Here are some images of this unique public art project:
