When it comes to creative Typography, there are no limits. On our blog itself, we've featured tons unique projects showcasing the art of Typography beautifully.

But I was truly impressed when I saw designers incorporating Typography to our favorite board games. A little while back we'd featured a special edition of Scrabble for Typography lovers. Today we would like to share a chess-set that is based on chess notation by a UK-based design company: Hat-Trick.

The forms are based on typeface Champion (Lightweight) by Hoefler Frere Jones. It is a limited edition with chess pieces that are cut from 25mm acrylic. For a closer look, check out the images and video below:
