Zirtual provides virtual assistant who will look after your daily tasks; those tasks which you think are not worth spending time on. Zirtual hires, filters and tests your personal concierges and assigns them directly to you. You just send them a task and it will be done in the minimum time possible. Zirtual handles a variety of virtual tasks. You can check out a few examples here. There are three plans - light, premium and enterprise from which you can choose one for yourself.

We have Zirtual's co-founder with us, Maren Kate  to tell us more about her venture. Lets get candid with her:

Maren, let's start with a brief introduction of yours.

I've been in business for myself since college, where over the years I've had hundreds of startup ideas but finally settled on the concept for Zirtual about a year ago - ever since then the Zirtual team has been working hard to disrupt the virtual assistant space for good.

Tell us about the fascinating concept 'Zirtual' uses.

Zirtual helps busy people live their life to the fullest. We do so by giving each customer a dedicated concierge assistant who will take care of all the small tasks that fill up busy people's lives and stop them from focusing on what's important. Right now we offer 3 different plans, you can order a one-time "a la carte" concierge task, 5 tasks for $100 or you can get unlimited assistance each month for only $197.

How did you come up with 'Zirtual'? We would love to know about its inception.

I've always been a huge proponent of delegation - partly because I'm ADD and can't focus on most tasks for too long and partly because I like to focus on the 20% of my day that produces the most results. I tried delegating tasks to assistants in the Philippines and India, but eventually realized that the best types of assistants were ones who were in the US and didn't have the language/time zone barriers that foreign VA's experienced. Eventually we pivoted into the concierge assistant space - which is a higher end version of an assistant who can help you with everything from booking a trip, to researching for a presentation, to sending hand written cards to your Facebook friends.

I read the whole 'Concierge Menu' and it IS a long list! How do you manage everything? Would you like to tell us a little bit about your functioning?

Each dedicated assistant handles a set number of clients and each client delegates a variety of different tasks. So rarely is an assistant swamped with all of those tasks at once.

What kind of reception has 'Zirtual' had so far?

So far it's been great, we launched our limited beta and we've had great experiences with both our customers and our zirtual assistants. We're planning on adding more customers in November and December and offering some killer holiday deals as well.

Now that 'Zirtual' is up and running, what is the biggest challenge?

Just focusing on what's important, not getting distracted by the millions of shiny objects that will try and block an entrepreneur's vision. Pick one goal and work at it single-mindedly, that's my best piece of advice.

What message do you have for our readers?

Persistence is key, persistence and having a big vision - if you hold these two characteristics dear to your heart you will do very well.

Oh, sorry to hear that...you can share your experience with us if you want. It might help Zirtual work on whatever went wrong.

I work for dailyPA.co.uk. Our clients are mostly small & medium sized companies, as well as busy individuals like financial advisers, IT consultants and entrepreneurs. If anyone needs a virtual personal assistant in the UK, my company dailyPA.co.uk would be delighted to assist.
