There have been various creative ways in which organizations have created and promoted their QR codes, but when we came across Salt & Ethic's recycled QR code, we just had to share it with you.

Salt & Ethic, one of our featured 'Start-Ups' is a community of young designers who come together with creative and ethical products with 'responsible shopping'  as their motto. Salt & Ethic was founded in June 2011 with a belief that only design and style will be able to introduce responsible consumption.

They sell upcycled, recycled or organic products with style and eco-friendly as a common denominator. They sell stuff like, accessories, footwear, furniture, decorations, lighting, men's and women's clothing. Looking at their creative recycled QR code makes their belief and motto all the more evident...they like to call it 'QRecycled Code'!

"The code summarizes the fundamental philosophy of Salt+Ethic: A great combination between art and ethics. We've displayed it in some strategic areas in the city of Milan, Italy, and in other places with less traffic. We recorded the people's reactions and made a video: The first QRecycled Code!"
