Usually we see people having a hard time while posing still for a painting, but in Alexa Meada's case people are the painting. She has a unique style and technique in which she uses human beings (at time objects) as a canvas and paints on them using acrylic paint. Then she merges that live portrait with background and clicks a picture. When you look at that image, you will have a hard time differentiating if that image is on a canvas or is it an actual person posing in front of a camera.

"I paint the surfaces of the human subjects, the material objects, and the architecture of the installations so as to collapse the subject, foreground, and background into one continuous plane." she says.
