I would call Mark Jenkins a notorious and a clever street artist who can shock and intrigue passing pedestrians using a technique so simple and yet brilliantly executed that you can't help and appreciate his creativity and clever mind.
Using regular household stuff like packing tape, plastic wrap, and scissors, he manages to stupefy innocent crowd through his realistic sculptures.
And whats more, that his technique is no secret...rather he has a website dedicated to provide tutorials for Tape Sculptures.
In a nutshell, to create these sculptures, he wraps an object with plastic wrap to give it shape, then carefully removes it by making incisions on the cast and then taping the cast back together, using a plastic tape. (Check out the tutorial video below)...didn't I say, its incredibly easy and brilliant?
Check out his tutorial website to create a realistic sculpture yourself. Well atleast I'll be trying one myself...with a notorious prank in mind. ;)
