Skitch is a simple and incredibly easy-to-use screen capture tool that lets you capture your screen, edit, save, share and discuss it within your network. You can even draw with this tool and upload images from your system.

In this post I will be sharing how seamless it is to use this tool and that you can save a whole lot of time...but before I get there I want you to note that this tool is compatible with Mac only, although they are working on Windows version.

Highlights

Skitch lets you:

  • Capture your screen.
  • Archive your captures.
  • Crop images in the most easiest way possible.
  • Incorporate arrows, text, shapes or sketch to your capture.
  • Manage these images with tags and sets.
  • Share these images on Twitter, Facebook, blog or through a URL of the image.
  • Drag me is one of the best feature in Skitch where you can drag 'n drop  your capture anywhere in your computer.
  • You create your own community within Skitch.

Keith Lang, from Skitch shares that " Skitch has always been about speed - getting your idea or feedback to someone else, fast. We believe the speed and ease of Skitch allows for a better user experience."

Here's a demo video with 60 second introduction to Skitch:

And here are two more videos demonstrating how you can draw with Skitch and use it as camera for internet:

From what I've researched I have found only good words about this tool except for the fact that it is available for Mac only, I would have given more details about this tool, but I am a Linux and Windows user. So all the lucky Mac people out there, give it a try and do let me know how useful you found it to be. :)
