You must have come across various unique styles of lighting in different shapes and sizes but never would you have seen such mysterious and intriguing light series by Manfred Kielnhofer who calls them 'Light Guards'.

An Austrian artist produced these series of lights by incorporating polyester figures with energy saving light resources.

Have a look at the images below and you will see how his fascinating 'Light Guards' can create a mysterious ambiance and definitely spark interesting conversations.

"Like our furniture pieces, lighting systems also have their own way of providing warm and elegant ambiance to our modern home. The Light guards by Manfred Kielnhofer will not only create a modern and elegant ambiance but also it has the sculptural design that will create unique and eye-catching ambiance to our landscape.

Manfred's ghostly 'Time Guardians' seem to have abandoned themselves to infinite sadness. What do the life-sized polyester figures represent? Are they supposed to inspire awe, compassion or fear? The artist refuses to tell us why he created them and if we dare to peer inside the cloaks we discover only black emptiness.

With his 'Light Guards' Kielnhofer has created some slightly different Christmas lights. His light sculptures are reminiscent of monks, nun and/or the Virgin Mary. The life-sized sculptures are equipped with energy saving lamps 32W."
