Crayon Carvings By Diem Chau

Diem Chau is an artist who creates intricate and unique crayon sculptures, she defines herself as "artist, doll collector, tinkerer..."

She carefully and beautifully carves on these tiny little crayons, an art form that requires patience, delicacy and a sharp eye for details.

"Chau combines common mediums and common means to create delicate vignettes of fleeting memory, gesture and from, resulting in works that combines egalitarian sensibility and minimalist restraint," describes her website.
