YouTube has recently launched its very first shopping channel, a place where viewers not only view interactive videos of what to wear and when but can also buy the products that they are viewing.
French Connection, a leading fashion brand decided to take E-commerce to a whole new level and transform online shopping experience for their customers by providing a virtual shopping assistant.
It has brought E-commerce to a video site through in-video links. If visitors like what they see in the video, all they have to do is click on it and the product(s) will the in its way to their doorstep...imagine what it will do to compulsive shoppers.
Take a look at the snapshot below, the '+Buy' buttons are annotations that links directly to their online store. Just when the video is about to finish, these buttons appear luring the viewer to at-least have a look at them and perhaps buy as well.
