Every blogger spends considerable amount of time choosing a perfect image for his/her blog post. Finding images is not a difficult task but using them sure is. The easiest way out is Google Images, and there are many who overlook copyright issues involved; they tend to ignore the fact that they may be compromising on the quality as well.

There are plenty of websites out there that provide a huge collection of images for you to use; royalty free. Some websites charge a nominal amount for downloading the image, while some are more generous and give them away for free, provided you mention the source in the post; which is not too much to ask for.

A nice mix of free and paid site there, we also have listings of stock images agencies organized by license type (both free and commercial)

Thanks for this fantastic list. However what is disappointing is that most of these sites which gives images for free only give their smallest version of the image

(understandably so). However for someone like me who needs larger image for most of my work this is not an option. Yes, I can pay and download at the best sites but

I am sure there are people who do this for us for free.

As I was searching I came across this new site by one Ms.Ramya where she uploads few images every week. All the images in her site are high resolution free images

and you can download all of them without any restriction. I have already downloaded around 30 images from 60 that she has uploaded. Only thing she requesting from

us, the users is to spread the word. So here I am...

Please add her site to your list if possible as this useful information should reach those users who want it most and are lost in 10000s of many sites which dont give

high res images for free.
