Google Instant has become an inspiration for many developers world wide who seem to have gone into instant applications developing spree.
Not too long ago, Feross Aboukhadijeh created a buzz by developing a YouTube Instant search engine and was subsequently hired by Chad Hurley, YouTube's co-founder. Pek Pongpaet, developer behind ShelfLuv has won himself an award at Hackathon Contest, for creating the best application in the contest which was held in SyncTechCenter, Chicago.
ShelfLuv is an application for searching books on Amazon instantly. A bookshelf appears on the screen and as you type in words, the books on the shelve change. Once you click on a particular book, the application will lead you to another page and show you details like sales rank or ratings of the book; it also provides link to purchase that book from Amazon. Perhaps, Amazon too can consider hiring this guy.
A simple and beautiful application giving you options for books that you may have never heard of, thereby providing numerous books to explore and choose from. So give it a try, and let the book 'choose you' for a change.
