For all those iPhone owners who envy blackberry's QWERTY keypad, this might just be the perfect solution for you.
TK-421 iPhone Case with Flip-Out Keyboard is a product by Think Geek; "Take THAT Blackberry" is how they put it. "Even though iPhone enthusiasts are used to typing on glass with no tactile feedback, nothing beats having a real old skool style buttons to mash your thumbs on" they say.
This keyboard case connects to iPhone via Bluetooth and can be used for emails, browsing, notes, texting and other applications. There are two versions for this $50 worth case, one for iPhone 4 and other for iPhone 3GS, its bit of a disappointment for iPhone 3G users because Apple decided not to support 3G version with Bluetooth keyboard support therefore making this case incompatible with it.
Apart from increasing accuracy and speed, this case attaches the phone through a magnet based clasp and can be flipped over for use as and when required. However, it is unclear as how it will affect the slimness of the phone and how bulky it will be after attaching it with the flip keyboard. The inbuilt rechargeable batteries can be easily charged using a USB cable which comes with the keyboard.
Unfortunatley, those who wish to lay their hands on this pretty convenient gadget will have to wait till mid November, because that is when Think Geek starts shipping off this product again as it is out of stock as off now. Click here to visit their website.
