There are only two sure facts about Bansky:
- He's an artist.
- He is from UK.
Rest is all mystery. He comes out of no where, creates art in oddest of places and moves on to his next endeavor. There have been many speculations about his identity, many have tired to unveil this 'guerrilla' cum 'street' cum 'graffiti' artist but all in vain. No one even knows his real name yet.
His art work on the other hand is as fascinating as the artist himself, his work reflects his sarcasm towards politics, culture and presents it with dark humor.
He doesn't sell his work and of course cannot be found on Facebook, Twitter or other "social" networking sites. "Please take anything from this site and make your own but for non-commercial use only" explains his website.
