If yes, then you must submit a small sample of your writing with a new website called I Write Like, which analyzes your writing and gives you a name of a renowned writer whose writing style is similar to yours.

A Russian software programmer, Dimitri Chestnykh, developed this site which detects user's inner author by analyzing the keywords in a text. "I wanted it to be an educational thing and also to help people write better" he says.

This fun software asks you to write a small paragraph and after clicking the 'analyze' button it will show you names like Sidney Sheldon or Jeffery Archer or some other writer; without registering with the site . The New York Times tried playing around with the software and submitted actual novels like, "Moby-Dick" and it turned out that he writes more like King than himself.

"Obviously, I Write Like isn't an exact science. But simply the idea of an algorithm that can reveal traces of influence in writing has proven wildly popular." reports New York Times.

Although the site is relatively new but the number of visitors in such a short period of time is astounding. It went live on 5th July and according to their blog they have analyzed 1,483,036 texts so far.

The site analyzes keywords, thereby showing results based on the choice of words, it also calculates the length of sentences and displays the name of a writer; the site has uploaded work of 50 writers and aims to include more books to improve accuracy.

So go ahead, analyze your writing to know your clone writer.
