Among all the search engines, Google has the cleanest homepage, and that is about to change very soon.

Google has announced that it will be rolling out a new feature that will allow its users to personalize their homepage by uploading a picture in the background. You will be able to upload any picture from your hard disk, personal Picasa Web Album or from public Picasa account; unlike iGoogle.

"Whether you choose a photo of a loved one, a picture of your favorite vacation destination or even a design you created yourself, Google.com is now yours to customize. For those of you who want to enjoy the clean, simple look of Google as well as your personalized view, we’ve made it easy to switch between your customized search page and classic Google." announced Marissa Mayer in Google's Official blog.

Once it goes live, you will be able to upload your favorite picture from a link on the bottom left corner of the screen. This feature has already made it debut for certain users in U.S. and will be available for every U.S. resident in coming days, while other countries will have hold their horses because its international launch might take a little longer.

If you wish to share you 'personalized Google homepage' with Google Inc. you can tweet a picture of that page with a hashtag: #myGooglepage.
