Facebook has rolled its new 'Analytics' feature for your Facebook Page, applications and websites, they have recently announced launch of improved insights dashboard.
The new dashboard is designed keeping Page owners and applications developers in mind, because it contains a much detailed data along with new visualization tools incorporated with demographics of audiences interacting with your page, website or application.
"For example, you can now view analytics around specific stories liked on your website, or how many users commented on posts made on your Page (note that this is anonymized aggregate data and does not include personally identifiable information). From there, you will have a better idea of what your audience finds most interesting and capitalize on that content." explained Alex (engineer from Platform team) on Facebook's blog.
Their goal is to bring better information for domain admins, page admins or developers who can learn more about their visitors and analyse every little detail that can help them in advertising better. Having said that, Facebook's effort to improve productivity for various admin's in the site sure deserves praise but it still has a long way to go in order to compare themselves with Google Analytics.
