The Japanese artist Yuken Teruya is known for transforming regular objects into a piece of art. In the past we have featured the artist's amazing artwork on toilet paper rolls and this time here's the artist's fine work on paper bags.

Teruya transformed paper bags into paper cut trees that look like small fragile tree inside each bag. The artist created these paper bag sculptures for his recent solo show at Pippy Houldsworth and you can also find these in the artist's ongoing Notice – Forest series.

According to the Teruyas website, "When you see it under the natural light, the delicate tree inside the paper bag shows us the strength and the proof of existence of living tree."
