Last week we started a new series called 'Weekend Finds' where we share creative work from photographers, illustrators or graphic designers all over the net. Our first series was the best of food art found on Flickr.

This week the theme one of the most talked about colors: Pink.

Pink is not just about being girly, it is a soothing color that suppresses erratic behavior and also encourages action and confidence. But most importantly, it is a beautiful color that makes you happy, perhaps that's why people often say, 'tickled pink'. :)

Food in itself is an art, but there are many creative people out there who find inspiration from food for their paintings, illustrations, photography, graphic designs and products.

This weekend, I was browsing through some recipes and somehow landed on Flickr.com where I found some interesting and very creative food art. This led me to various other sites where I found some amazing photography and illustrations that made me forget all about the recipe.
