On Tuesday, Facebook's Director of Product, Blake Ross, introduced a latest feature called 'Smart Lists' that will make it easier for you to categorize your friends on Facebook.

"Lists have existed for several years, but you've told us how time-consuming it is to organize lists for different parts of your life and keep them up to date," shares Ross.

Who knew that a day would come when social networking giant Facebook will get intimidated by features offered by a newbie in social networking world. First, Facebook's not-so-successful attempt to introduce video chatting feature, pretty much like Google+'s Hangout and now 'smart lists' which seems to be a desperate attempt copy 'Circles', one of the most appreciated features in Google Plus.

Google has a disastrous history when it comes to social networking, but their latest project Google Plus has become the fastest growing social networking site. Google Plus was launched in June'11 and has more than 25 million users already. Although, how active these users are, is a debatable issue.
