With just over a month until the festive season, you may think that it's impossible to start your own enterprise to take advantage of the added consumerism during this period. It's time to stop being so negative though, as all it takes is a little planning and some smart decisions and you can open your business up in time for Christmas. If you live in San Francisco, you are doubly lucky as this is a city of endless business opportunities regardless of the time of year! By following the steps listed below, you'll have your new commercial organisation up and running in the next few weeks!

"Life is a love affair, it is poetry and it is music. Don't ask the ugly question like, what is the purpose? Life can't be bridged with philosophical questions."

Well that's what you should be doing this Holiday Season. Just grab an eggnog or a mug of warm cappucinno and rest back to gather some thoughts of the year that's drawing to a close soon enough. What better way to create the right ambiance but some music to go along.

Going by the tradition of Christmas, most of us would be at the midnight mass or going places singing the age old carols. But how many of us know the behind-the-scenes stories of some of the songs that we all know and sing every year, come Christmas.

Yay! It's Christmas!

Time to let the creativity horses in the mind run free and decorate everything that comes in sight; the Christmas tree, the house, the dinning table, oneself and the pet.

It's around Christmas time that the animals look cute enough to get anyone in the holiday spirit.

Dressed up as Santa, an elf, a reindeer or the Christmas tree, the pets look so damn cute. Here are some ultra-cute images of pets dressed especially for Christmas and following it is the animal version of the Christmas carol - 12 Days of Christmas, that'll make you go aww...

What's the worst nightmare for any one during the holiday season, especially around Christmas?

Still being confused with the holiday gifts!

Ask me, I still haven't done my holiday gift shopping and as Christmas is approaching it's becoming more difficult to zero down to that one perfect gifts for family and friends.

Yesterday, I hit the panic button, when my mom asked me what I'm getting for her this Christmas. And since then I have been busy surfing the internet for some last minute holiday gift ideas.

Ever since 2007 NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) that monitors Canada and US air space has been working with Google to help 'track' Santa's journey delivering gifts to millions of children all over the world. But this year, NORAD and Google has 'mutually' agreed to part their ways, resulting in Google launching its very own 'Santa Tracker' to map Father Christmas' travels.

This is Google's 2nd major break-up this year; first being with Apple who left Google Maps to launch their own inferior version of maps, and second with NORAD who decided to collaborate with Microsoft's Bing this year. Prior to working with NORAD, Google used Google Earth to track Santa every year, but this time Google's engineers built a new route algorithm using Google Maps.

"On his sleigh, arguably the fastest airborne vehicle in the world, Santa whips from city to city delivering presents to millions of homes. You’ll be able to follow him on Google Maps and Google Earth, and get his stats starting at 2:00 a.m. PST Christmas Eve." shares Google.

"Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the hills we go
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtail ring
Making spirits bright.
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight."

It's again time to sing these lyrics as Christmas is almost here. Singing Carols, hanging those mistletoes-n-yuletides, expanse of snow all around and the sprawling decorations adorning the Christmas tree is the quintessential imagery that comes to one's mind. For the kids, its the gifts that the Santa and his Elves would deliver from the faraway North Pole on his sleigh with Rudolph - the red nosed reindeer leading the way. The real brownie point is the Christmas morning, when the year long wait to unwrap the gifts, tucked neatly under the tree, comes undone. Delightful !

Well Google has taken the "HO HO HO " spirit one step further.

What's that one Christmas tradition we all love?

Sending Christmas cards to each other, don't we just love it!

This is one of the oldest still existing Christmas tradition that never gets old, it's just the form, style and the language changes.

A Christmas card is a greeting card which is sent in order to convey a range of sentiments related to the Christmas and holiday season between people. There's no exact time to exchange these cards, but usually people do it during the weeks preceding Christmas Day.

"This world you have made is a beautiful place,
It tells the power of your love,
We rejoice in the beauty of your world,
From the seas to the heavens above!"

Ahh! All those honest, God-fearing Church go-ers would instantly recognize this hymn. But how many of us still believe that we would be singing this on 21-12-2012 ?

If you are one of those gullible believe-all who actually place any value in these Doomsday prophecies that have been doing the rounds since 'God-knows-when' era, well we honestly suggest 'JUST RELAX'.

The Internet is filled with the so-called "informative" titbits that have created a huge hysteria. From movies to books to actual "last Day" parties, the world is going gaga planning for something that's as baseless as myths can get. All humbug! We wonder if its Christmas or Halloween again, eh!

Its always around the Christmas time that everyone's creativity is at it's best as its the one time of the year when you get to see the best holiday decoration.

Santa with his reindeers riding your roof, Santa on the chimney, elves in the garden or crazy lights all over the roof; all you see is holiday decorations around.

Just like my coffee this morning, I had a weird looking Santa in my coffee, waving at me (something remotely opposite to the image on the left). And the next thing I could think of was 'The Addam's Family' and their weird Christmas decorations; dry Christmas Tree and Uncle Fester dressed up as Santa.

The holiday season is in full swing. While Thanksgiving just passed, living upto the Christmas spirit is going to take a lot of effort this time around. Come January 2013, when the world will wake up to a new dawn with smiles and new dreams, American economy will be all set for a showdown with the FISCAL CLIFF.

We aren't exactly visualising scenes from the blockbuster flick Armageddon here but the subtle patterns are hard to miss. Now figure this.

The scene of action is The United States of America; as always! A bunch of know-it-alls in starched pinstripe suits deliberate the future of the Earth. They'r just the talkers. Oops! "Policy Makers" that's what they are called, to use some correct political jargon! However, the real movers are a crack team of oil drillers hired by the top brass to save the Earth.

Well the plot seems fit for the silver screen and we'll let it be just there. What the American businesses can't afford right now is to rely on such Harry Stamper's and A.J's to burst into a last minute rescue.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we're done with half of the holiday shopping and December is here, it's Christmas time!

As the Christmas countdown has just begin, everyone is knee deep preparing for Christmas. And why would UK's only certified LEGO technician, Duncan Titchmarsh stay behind. Duncan has constructed a huge LEGO advent calendar.

This LEGO calendar is made using 600,000 LEGO bricks and was recently unveiled at London’s Covent Garden shopping area.

Like every advent calendar, everyday at 4 pm the door of this LEGO calendar is opened, revealing it's inside content and the last door would be opened on the Christmas eve.

This wonderful 10ft Christmas tree is a result of hard work over a period of 9 months. 1,200 woolen squares of green color in different shades were created, sewn together by 50-60 women. It was then placed over a metal pyramid frame. Besides the woolen squares, snowmen, Santas, penguins, reindeer and stocking were also made and added to the tree.

This amazing tree was displayed at St Aldhelm's Church in Poole, Dorset of England until the Christmas Eve. The squares will now be knitted together to turn them into blankets and will be donated to the deprived people in Romania and Sri Lanka.

Image to your left is of the Church volunteer, Linda Beverley. Below is the full picture of the tree:

I love it when technology plays its part in making holidays more exciting and cheerful through fun applications, campaigns and even creative graphics. It's not just the Christmas carols, shopping sprees, festival food and vibrant colors that remind you of Christmas, it's also your Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad and other nifty gadgets, that keep your Christmas spirit going.

Like this app called, 'Send a Call From Santa' by Google, that lets you send your family and friends free personalized phone call from Santa after taking all the necessary details of the recipient from you. "So while the red suit may never go out of style, this year Santa has come up with an extra special way to spread the holiday cheer." shares Google.

With Christmas just around the corner, all of us are having a hard time coming up with those perfect gift ideas; because no matter how hard you try or how careful you are, you can never please everyone...even on Christmas.

Personally, the reaction that I dread the most is the pretension of liking the gift, when in fact you can see on their faces how much they seem to hate it. I would rather hear...'Never mind, I'll exchange it."

The trick here to divert the attention of what is inside by making the outside unforgettable. Simply wrap your gift into something so creative, that its awesomeness overpowers the crapness of your gift. So here are some of the most creative wrapping papers that'll bring in a new charm in your Christmas gifts this year:
