When you sell a product online you want to give it as much protection from pirating as possible.  With e-junkie, if what you are selling is a PDF (usually an eBook), you can use our Stamping feature to add a watermark to the upper left of each page of your document. The watermark will include the buyer’s name and email address.

Before going over how to set this up in e-junkie, I want to say that there is no 100% fool-proof way to keep people from sharing files. If people want to share a file, they will be able to do so. No system can keep this from happening. But you can deter people from doing it.

The PDF Stamping option is setup using our third-party integration settings within a product. To start go to Seller Admin > View/Edit/Delete Products, select the product you want to add the feature to from the drop down menu and click Edit.

On the page that loads make sure there is a check mark in the box for Send Transaction Data to a URL and click Next to go to the More Options page. On the More Options page add, the following URL to the Payment Variable Information URL field:


It will look like this:


After that, click Next until you can Submit the changes to the product. After that each copy of the PDF for that product will have the watermark with your buyer’s information.
