There is no doubt that the internet has changed the world and our lives for good. But there's one question that puzzles everyone of us - What actually happens on the internet every second?

Florida-based data company Fractl has an answer to that question and have created a webpage called 'The Content Explosion' that tracks and measures everything that happens on the Internet every second.

You'll be amazed by the information and the stats you'll find here. For starters, 7.79 terabytes is the amount of information that is transferred across the internet each second and according to Fractl, if each byte were a single gallon of water, the amount of information transferred across the internet would fill the entire Pacific Ocean in just 122 days. Wow!

On 'The Content Explosion' you'll also find live counters that'll give you a sense of how quickly things are happening on the internet.

I bet you must have had a few wow-moments yourself while checking out the page. Share your thoughts below.
