Creativity knows no end. Time, place and medium are no bar for creativity. One just needs that type of bent of mind to be creative. Creativity, if joins hands with science, can lead to an invention, if it merges with music can produce a new tune. Creativity in cooking can end up in a delicious mouth watering dish and when it gets mixed with the art of drawing, some delights to watch can be created.

Tineke Meirink, a Dutch illustrator from around past fifteen years does something exactly like that. She spots anything on the street or anywhere around her and gives it whole different look through her drawing. It can be difficult to understand this work of her, without having a look at them.

Her blog is named just what she actually does, "Stop:Watch". According to her blog, "Stop:watch is about taking a closer look. To stop and watch. Tineke takes photos of apparently uninteresting items such as litter and bird-droppings and adds a minimal illustration digitally. That way these photos get a whole different meaning, they come to life. She hopes it makes people realize that everything has its beauty and that it is just more fun to take a closer look."

Time to see for yourself. Scroll down to see the way Tineke sees the things around. Each picture will surely make you pause to gaze at, or I shall say, each one will make you stop and watch!

Her works are not very complex to understand, but they definitely are a pleasure to watch. The drawings added to the photographs assure to either bring a smile or make the viewer raise eyebrows. Her works or actually the ideas of imagining the things, apart from adding fun to a regular object, lead us to another thought that it all depends on how one sees the thing before or look at the situation. The way you take up and interpret it makes a lot of difference. Sometimes it requires just a vision to make alterations in the reality.
