1. Set Daily Achievable Goals for Yourself
No matter you work from your office or from your home, the moment you wake up think about the work that needs to get done and set goals for yourself. Do this on daily basis and make sure you set achievable goals for yourself. List them down on a sheet of paper and as you go about your day make sure you complete all those listed task. You can also download list apps like Evernote, Any Do or any other reminder apps. Make sure to checkout that list once in a while just to make sure that you aren't missing any of the listed tasks.
2. At a Time, Focus on a Single Task
Nowadays, its all about multi-tasking, working on more than one task at a time but one thing that most of us forget is that our brain is functioned to perform one task at a time, so why not focus on a single task at a time, give it our best and actually complete it instead of hopping between tasks and not even being an inch near to completing them.
If you ask me it's more easier to complete your tasks when you focus on one thing at a time.
3. Keep your Phone Away
I know the very thought of staying away from your phone is haunting but more than being a boon your phone causes nothing but obstruction in your work. So if you are done making all the important calls for the day, why not keep your phone aside and focus on work instead.
4. Take Breaks in Between
Sometimes too much of work is bad for your health so make sure you take some time out in between to stretch out. You can either walk around the office or simply go out for a brisk walk. This is also more important because we spend a lot of time sitting at one place which can be bad for our body, especially the back. This is also helpful in case you are out of creative ideas, a small break would definitely freshen up your mind.
5. Reward Yourself
Whenever you complete a task make sure to reward yourself and when we say that we are not talking about big rewards like buying yourself a new car or go shopping but activities you indulge in during a regular day. It could be anything like watching TV for a few minutes or eating something you love and in case you finish all your to-do list tasks for day, reward yourself by spending time with your friends
With this we come to an end and here are your 5 productivity tips that will not only help you stay productive but also get your work done.
