I was recently working on a small family project that required a lot of audio to be converted into text. It was one tedious task initially but half way through, sadly, it just struck me that since there are apps for almost everything therefore, there has to be an app that could convert audio into text like a piece of cake and to my surprise there is not one but many such apps. I instantly downloaded a few and tried using them and honestly speaking there were a few apps that not only made it easy for me to complete the task at hand but have also saved a place on my smartphone.

If you are looking for an app that's easy to use then Dragon Dictation is the one app you must-have.

With only one button this app is easy to use. Just tap on the button and start talking, once you are done talking the text would appear. You can send this text to others via email, simply copy and paste it to other apps, post it to Facebook and Twitter or save it for use later.

3. Voice Assistant


What makes this app the best is that it uses intelligent speech recognition that improves the performance of this app with use and automatically corrects grammar.

This is a paid app and is worth $2.99. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
