Random things like wooden planks, garbage bags stuffed with garbage, trash box, etc. might be almost invisible for the most of us while we are passing by them in the street. But for London-based artist Ian Stevenson they serve as a perfect canvas for making amazing street art.
Ian is an artist who is influenced by things around him, his surroundings, everyday objects he comes across. He is one artist who can easily spot cheerless surfaces, gaping and desolate waiting to be filled: a discarded fridge here, an abandoned gas fire there, rubbish bags and cardboard boxes.
His ongoing project - Rubbish Art includes discarded items and trash that Ian finds in the streets of London. Ian goes around the streets of London giving voices and faces to junk lying around. So in case you are in London and you are walking down the street, keep your eyes open, you might spot one of Ivan's work.
