The 'few seconds or minutes' wait is a mood spoiler and waiting for five seconds to 'skip the ad' is a total bummer. No matter what you do to avoid seeing ads on YouTube, the site developers always find a way to show you them to you.
The worst thing about these ads is that they are too loud and not related to the video you are about to see, because of this often the viewers lose interest in the video and choose not to see it, and down the line this might cause a lot to the video-maker or the particular brand/person that video is associated with; lesser views, less subscriber.
I guess by now you have an idea what we are about to discuss - blocking these mood spoiling ads on YouTube.
With a simple command you can disable ads on YouTube. All that you have to do is -
- Open a video on YouTube
- Open the developer console (For Chrome - CTRL-SHIFT-J and for Firefox - Ctrl-Shift-K)
- Just enter the following code:
- Hit enter
document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=oKckVSqvaGw; path=/; domain=.youtube.com";window.location.reload();
As soon as you enter the code you won't be seeing any ads. Also keep in mind that there is a possibility that this code won't be working in the future as Google keeps on updating the site. But I guess this shouldn't be bothering you since someone would come-up with another solution. Until then you enjoy the ad-free YouTube experience.

I have also know a very good method for this purpose i am sure you like it. Go to internet and download Youtube
ad blocker from internet and install it on your computer. That,s all, all the ads have been blocked. :)
