After recently acquiring Tumblr, Yahoo! is working hard on making changes to itself and starting today, Yahoo! is going to ditch its Mail Classic.

Last year in December, Yahoo! launched a new version of mail and earlier this year in April it announced the discontinuation of Classic.

All Yahoo! Mail users would have to switch to the new version of Mail and accept a TOS/Privacy Policy update that allows Yahoo! to scan emails, saving yourself from unwanted mails.

According to the official Yahoo! announcement,  "Beginning the week of June 3, 2013, older versions of Yahoo! Mail (including Yahoo! Mail Classic) will no longer be available. After that, you can access your Yahoo! Mail only if you upgrade to the new version. When you upgrade, you will be accepting our Communications Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This includes the acceptance of automated content scanning and analyzing of your communications content."

For some users this ditch is a blessing in disguise as it saves them from unwanted ads but for some it's a invasion of privacy. Whats's your take on Yahoo!'s new move? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
