May 4th is celebrated as the international Star Wars Day and every Star Wars fan knows the relevance of this one day. This day is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate the Star Wars culture and honor the films.
Many people who haven't seen all the Star Wars films are often confused about this day. Why a Star Wars Day?
This day came into being because of the popularity of a phrase from the Star Wars films, "May the force be with you". And on this day Star Wars fans commonly say "May the 4th be with you".
If you spot people dressed up as Yoda, Han Solo or Darth Vader on this day, don't be surprised. It's a all Star Wars day for Star Wars fans. On this day movie theaters across the world screen the Star Wars films all day, various Star War events like conventions are held along with other related festivities.

Watching the Star Wars films is the best way to celebrate this day.
2) Dress up like your favorite Star Wars character
It's not Halloween today but you can still dress up like your favorite Star Wars character or wear your favorite Star Wars t-shirt.
