In a fun series that glorifies the overarching imagination of two digital photographers ans sculptors, is "In Pieces".

Well who doesn't know LEGO ! Its has its subtle imprints from a person childhood to the studios of gaming artist looking to produce the next great LEGO design, that could be your child's next toy too. Trust me, a childhood without LEGO blocks or toys was simply unimaginable for me!

Seems it was the case with sculptor Nathan Sawaya and photographer Dean West too.

A champion artist in their respective domains, both of them collaborated to present this amazing multimedia project to "produce a set of deceptive images that lead the viewer's gaze to wander in search of fabricated objects or subjects." In their photographic project it is the LEGO art that practically attunes itself to every background so seamlessly. In other words the "project is a series of tableau compositions based on ideas about nature, culture, society and more specifically, identity" that been commercialized heavily.

Nathan and Dean explain the theme of their projects in a simplistic way. Well its so much more endearing to hear people talk the language of the Simpletons! Jokes apart, the artists opined that in view of the spectacular success of digital photography as a mainstream profession in the last decade or so, goofing around with pop art icons and brands is commonplace. A little pixelating here or there and you have a LEGO sculptures that "visually assimilate into their environment. As such, the series draws attention to the visual difference in today's shift in technology."
