Look at the image on the left, doesn't it reminds you of the Shadow Artwork that we featured somewhere in 2010 by an artist-duo Tim Noble and Sue Webster. It surely does, right?
But don't be mistaken this amazing light and shadow sculpture comes from Diet Wiegman.
Wiegman uses trash and other objects to create these sculptures, he then shines light on the sculpture from a particular angle to create perfect silhouettes. Like the image on the left, it looks like Atlas holding the Earth.
Wiegman's artistic career is almost 5 decade long and he has dabbled in different art forms like ceramics, paint and photography.
Wiegman has brought back to life some known historical sculptures like the Venus de Milo and David by Michelangelo through his artwork. One of my personal favorite Wiegman's shadow sculpture is of the late 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson, it looks awesome!
