Well, this week has been all about launches, the week started with Apple launching its iOS 6.1, BlackBerry launching its BlackBerry 10 and yesterday Facebook launched its first-of-its-kind gift card.
So from now on in case you forget your BFF's birthday or your wedding anniversary, you can easily do the damage control with this the Facebook card.
Facebook card is a reusable gift card that lets users give gifts to friends and family. Currently, the card is only be used at Jamba Juice, Olive Garden, Sephora and Target.
The card is available on Facebook.com just like the other Facebook Gifts and looks something like this:

For those who are worried about receiving too many gift cards, just relax. According to Facebook's official blog post, "After you've received a card, the next time you get a Facebook Card gift, it will instantly be added to your existing card. Your card can hold multiple gift balances, and each balance is dedicated to the retailer associated with the gift. For example, you might have gift balances of $100 at Sephora, $75 at Target, $50 at Olive Garden, and $8.25 at Jamba Juice."
The Facebook Card is rolling out gradually to US users now.

Here's how the card works:
Firstly, you have to select a gift that you want to gift a friend, form the Gift Cards & Digital category.
After you do that, you select a value and make the purchase.

According to Facebook, "Your friend will be notified instantly about your gift, and will receive a Facebook Card in the mail a few days later. As soon as it arrives, your friend can use the card at the retailer you've chosen for the amount you've gifted."
Users can easily manage the gift balance through their account settings on Facebook from their mobile device or desktop.
