When it comes to wine, we've featured some bizarre yet very creative art and products. A few days back, we'd shared lights created from recycled wine bottles, we also featured a very talented artist who creates embroidered portraits using wine stains.

Today we would like to share another such inspiring work of art by Scott Gundersen who creates portraits using wine corks.

If you notice that it is not just a matter of placing wine corks on a canvas, it takes an eye-for-detail to ensure that the cork is placed precisely in accordance to the wine stain on it; this is how the shadow in the portrait is created. It takes as much as 3,200 corks to create one portrait, but Gundersen has also created a portrait using more than 9,000 wine corks. You can have a look the videos below to learn more about his work.
