Amazing LEGO Facts And Artwork

Posted: 7/28/2012
Anything is possible in the LEGO world and that's what makes it more interesting. There are so many things that can be made using LEGO bricks. I have met so many LEGO fans, who go on and on talking about LEGO and their childhood LEGO memories. Few of them still have some of their LEGO toys with them. I recently read somewhere that LEGO bricks sold in one year would encircle the world 5 times. Amazing, isn't it?

Frankly speaking, we here at E-junkie are sort of hooked on to LEGO for quite sometime, especially after we featured the LEGO Colosseum last week on our blog.

Personally, speaking I love LEGO work, be it anything featured on our blog or anything on the internet. This time I've a list of amazing LEGO works to share with you but before I do that, here are some amazing LEGO facts that you must know:
  • Ole Kirk Christiansen, the founder of LEGO combined the first two letters of the Danish words LEG GODT (means- play well). LEGO in Latin means I put together.
  • Initially, LEGO toys were made of wood.
  • The motto of LEGO is Good play enriches a child's life and his subsequent adulthood.
  • Around 400,000 LEGO bricks were used to make the largest LEGO castle.
  • There are 915 million ways to combine six LEGO bricks.

One thing for sure there is no substitute for LEGO. Putting two bricks together is intuitive and joy of creation can not be replaced by anything. Now as promised, here is my list of amazing LEGO work.

Happy viewing!
