We all know how Facebook has led to extinction of something known as 'face-to-face conversation'. Through these cards MOO.com aims to revive the act of actually meeting real people, while not giving up on your Facebook world.
These Facebook cards extract information like your name, company or college, where you live, phone number, email address and even your Facebook profile URL from your timeline; allowing you to customize them as per your liking. The front of the card displays your personal information and an image that you can choose from your timeline. These cards automatically display your favorite quotation on the reverse side; which you can always edit. MOO.com lets you use different designs for your cards, so that you can hand out cards in accordance to the occasion or the people.
"It's clear that consumer habits of sharing business and personal information are evolving, and the lines between online social networking and offline business networking are not just blurring, but vanishing." says Richard Moross, CEO and founder of MOO.com.
An internal research by MOO.com reveals that consumers are increasingly looking out for different options that allows them to 'socialize' their business card experience in the offline world. Gone are the days when people used conventional style for business cards, these days you will find catchy business card titles such as, 'Chief Happiness Officer', 'Linux Geek', 'SEM Rockstar' or the infamous 'I'm the CEO bitch!'.
"This integration places MOO and Facebook at the leading edge of this new trend: seamlessly turning your dynamic online presence into a beautifully designed, high quality offline 'social' business card. We're very excited about this new and unique way to share your contact details, and other profile information, with friends in the real world," added Moross.
You can buy Facebook business cards by paying $15 for 50 cards, $30 for 100, $45 for 150 and $60 for 200 cards. You can choose up to 50 different cover photos from your Facebook timeline.
Although, I find this idea to be quite interesting and I think it will be kinda fun to hand out such conversation striking business cards. But then again, do you think it will be professional to hand out such cards to your potential clients or customers. Do you really think that you can use them in real life? Or would you rather prefer to have your Facebook life confined to your virtual world? Do share your views in the comment section below.

Great product. Moo could spin off and build a great business on this product alone (assuming they have exclusive rights).
