Through E-junkie.info, I've had the opportunity to interact with some of the most amazing bloggers who always manage to inspire and motivate you. What, I learnt from them is that, you don't just simply decide to start blogging, there is always a story, an inspiration, an idea and most importantly passion, that steers us towards the blogosphere.

With 2012 just around the corner, all of us are in the process of contemplating our new year's resolution. And it's not surprising to see that other than losing weight, kicking the butt, quitting drinking or spending more time with the family, blogging is one of the top contestants. Some want to start blogging, while some wish they could dedicate some more time to their blog that hasn't been touched for ages now. I, myself have been thinking of starting a personal blog in 2012, but needed that push to start taking it seriously. So, I decided motivate myself, by reading stories of these amazing bloggers and their inspiration behind blogging. And I must say, it worked beautifully. :)

Have a look yourself...it will make you fall in love with blogging all over again:

Daniel Scocco: Daily Blog Tips

Daily Blog Tips is a fast paced blog where you can find useful tips, tricks and methods to improve your blog. The ace blogger behind DBT is Daniel Scocco who delivers useful content based on his experience and expertise in blogging. Having a background in International Economics, Daniel also provides consulting services to various companies and organizations.

"Back in 2005 when I got my degree in International Economics I was left with a big document that I had prepared for my thesis. I had put a lot of effort into researching and writing it out, but I was sure that apart from myself only two people would end up reading it, my teacher and my father….
Instead of letting the document sit idle and gather dust, therefore, I decided to chop it off into small articles and publish them on the web.
That is when I started researching about web publishing models, and when I came across blogging. I built my first blogs with raw HTML files, and after a while I discovered WordPress and became a loyal user.
After university I started working for a multinational company (inside the marketing department), but one year there was enough to make me realize that I didn’t want to work inside large companies. In fact I didn’t want to work to anyone else, I wanted to have my own business, so I quit my job and started working full time with online projects. That was late in 2006 if I remember well."
Interview with Daniel Scocco

Darya Pino: Summer Tomato

Darya Pino is a San Francisco based trained scientist, foodie and a lover of local, seasonal foods. A PhD in neuroscience, she writes for a number of publications that includes The Huffington Post, SF Weekly, KQED Science and Edible Science Francisco. Also, she has been a columnist with Synapse and has been recognized as one of the top students during her graduation.

"I honestly didn't know what blogging was until a few days before I launched my first version of Summer Tomato on Blogger. I was a columnist at my school's newspaper and wanted to better way to interact with my readers--newspapers are very uni-directional. When I discovered blogs I knew I needed to create one immediately. Within a few months it evolved into the Summer Tomato you see today."
Interview with Darya Pino

Beckie: Infarrantly Creative

Like most bloggers, Beckie's blog started off as a personal blog where she shared her new life after moving across the country and published those day-to-day projects that she worked on. Little did she know that it would turn out to be her full time job and that her ideas will inspire thousands of her readers to create and craft.

"I started blogging almost 4 years ago. I had just moved across the country and it was my way of keeping in contact with where I had just moved from. I thought a blog would be a good idea, that way if people wanted to read they could. If not, I wasn’t inundating them with emails about my family. It started out as a personal blog and then I showed some of the projects I was working on and it evolved from there. I never thought it would become my job."
Interview with Beckie

Kerry Garrison: CameraDojo

Kerry is a wedding and portrait photographer in Orange County, California. Cameradojo offers good quality tutorials, product reviews, and an active forum. Kerry writes several articles a week for the website and in May of 2008 he started the weekly CameraDojo podcast which is now one of the top photography podcasts in iTunes.

"I was really inspired by some of "big guys" who had started sharing their information online and since I felt I can take topics and make them easy for newer photographers, I figured I could write articles that would really help people. Much of it is actually self-documentary as I try different techniques and grow as a photographer which I feel makes it relate-able to a lot of people.
Fairly early on I was talking to one of my mentors, David Ziser, and I asked how I could pay him back for learning so much from him and his response was "teach other people" which has always inspired me to continue the website as well as many of the other educational projects that I am involved in."
Interview with Kerry Garrison

Betsy Wills: ArtStormer

ArtStormer is a very engaging blog by Betsy Wills where you'll find a variety of contemporary artworks by different artists worldwide. That is why I call it nucleus of artworks that will not only hook you up for a good amount of time but also entertains you at its best.

"For years I collected websites and links to young artists who I admired. I really needed some way to organize my files and thought that blogging might be just the right repository. Over a weekend I navigated Wordpress and just started! Keeping my commentary brief and breezy had helped me to sustain the effort. I stay clear of critiquing the art or the artist but only feature works that I would own myself. In looking through my posts, it appears I have a broad range of tastes."
Interview with Betsy Wills

Lisa Irby: 2CreateAWebsite

It's been almost 13 years when Lisa Irby, a successful online entrepreneur, stepped into the world of online marketing and since then she has been doing wonders in it. Today, she is working full time and earning from internet. Lisa is a self employed affiliate marketer, blogger, YouTuber and author of The WP Starter Guide. Teaching is one of her biggest passions and she keeps it alive at 2CreateAwebsite, where she teaches how to create a website, build traffic and eventually making money online.

"I started blogging in 2006. To be honest I didn't have a clue why I needed one since I already had a static website - 2CreateAWebSite.com. So at firs the blog failed miserably. Then I started reading Problogger.net and got some fresh ideas and began putting more thought into my content. Suddenly my subscriber rate went up and people started following my blog more closely."
Interview with Lisa Irby

Tyler Tervooren: Advanced Riskology

Advanced Riskology is a blog to which you can very well relate yourself, as it motivates you to avoid "the way it’s supposed to be". It teaches you how to take risks and rise beyond the obvious. The daring author at Advanced Riskology, Tyler Tervooren, realized the fact that 'it is not always like it is supposed to be' and did something extraordinary, out of the box. He has a personality that truly justifies the title of his blog 'better living through uncertainty.'

"I first started blogging as a creative outlet when I was working a full-time job in a field that wasn't fulfilling my need to be creative. I was working 12-14 hours a day doing something I didn't like very much and I needed something that would feed my creative desires. I've always had some sort of creative hobby since I was a little kid, and when I started my "original career" I found myself for the first time without one. That didn't sit right with me for long, so I went looking for something that would make me feel alive again, and I found writing."
Interview with Tyler Tervooren

Scott Bedford: WhatIMade.com

It is refreshing to find an equally creative blog by a 'bloke' from England who not only creates truly intriguing stuff but is a perfect example for those who are against the motion and agree with us that 'male or female' criterion does not hold true in blogging. WhatIMade.com is a blog that gives tutorials or instructions on how to make really cool stuff  by reusing/recycling objects or materials universally found in most homes. Scott has recently won the Webby Award and Webby's People's Voice Award for the best personal blog.

"The idea of blogging always intrigued me, but until about a year ago I didn't know what it is I might blog about. In the end it all happened rather organically - I started posting photographs of my craft projects and over the next couple of months developed my blog into what it is today (sometimes it's better not to wait for a big idea, but to figure things out as you go along!). Now, of course, I get a lot of pleasure from interacting with my readers – they tell me what it is they like, they are a constant source of encouragement and they bring new visitors. Even checking my web stats and seeing that a project has been downloaded a bunch of times gives me a kick."
Interview with Scott Bedford

Caz & Craig: yTravel Blog

Caz and Craig believe that life is all about memories and best memories are created while traveling. Therefore, this wonderful couple have been traveling for the past 14 long years to amazing destinations all over the World and restoring their memories at yTravel Blog. They share their experiences, tips, travel deals, inspiration and much more.

"We had been living and traveling around the world since 1997 and we felt we had so much information and stories to share. We felt we weren’t doing anything with that knowledge and so started to look for ways we could. A blog made perfect sense to us. We saw it as a way for us to share and build a travel community, which is something we have always loved being a part of."
Interview with Caz & Craig

Leonie Allan: Goddess Guidebook

Leonie Allan is an Australia based full time blogger and Goddess Guide to women to help them discover the wise, creative, joyful Goddess inside them. She is a writer, artist, creator and retreat maker. She has coached over 2000 women and loves helping them remember that they are Goddesses. She has been featured in SARK’s best-selling “Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper”, “Fabulous Friendship Festival” and “Glad No Matter What” and in magazines including Goddess, Spellcraft, Life Images and Spheres.

"I've been blogging for six years, which is like a bazillion years-ish in blog years. I started blogging because I was making art & musing in my journal in my spare time & wanted to share it with the world. So I just dove in. That's pretty much the answer to all my success: I just dive into stuff. With reckless abandon."
Interview with Leonie Allan

Tara Gentile: Scoutie Girl

Scoutie Girl is the one inspiring and informed place for the creative thinkers, aspiring business owners and careful shoppers. You can connect, converse, commune with extremely creative people here. The voice behind this awesome blog is Tara Gentile who is a well thought leader of the creative world. She is a business coach, blogger and motivator who guides passionate people to build a business for themselves

"Scoutie Girl was actually conceived and founded by Jan DiCintio who turned out to be my neighbor. She started the blog with the desire to create something different from what already existed in the art & design niche.
While the site looks pretty different than when she was at the helm, we hold that principle true to this day. I actually started blogging in college (2004) but let it slide when I fell into a conventional, not-so-fulfilling life. I started again after my daughter was born with the hope of creating a business that would earn enough money on the side for me to stay at home with her.
I took over Scoutie Girl in July 2008 and have worked hard to grow its platform, reach, and engagement ever since. We're now a solid year into an editorial style that's meant to be as challenging as it is inspiring and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!"

Diane Gilleland aka Sister Diane: Crafty Pod

Crafty Pod is all about making stuff and creating beautiful things. It is rated as one of the top 50 Mom Craft Blogs of 2011 and one of the most sought after blogs for learning all about craft. This is the blog for people who craft things or love to craft things.

"I started podcasting about five months before I started blogging. Early on, I thought blogs were kind of silly – I had that old "why would I want to read about what you had for breakfast" mentality. Then I discovered craft blogs and everything changed. I realized that a blog could be an online chronicle of my creative projects and inspirations, and that there was a growing community of like-minded bloggers out there to meet. After worrying for a couple months that I wouldn't have anything to say, I finally took the plunge with a simple Blogger blog. And I have not shut up since."
Interview with Sister Diane

Sarah Von: Yes and Yes

"Because Yes is more fun than No" is what Sarah truly believes in and her awesome blog 'Yes and Yes' revolves around the same line. It is a lifestyle blog by Sarah Von where she talks and shares  about a variety of tops including fashion, how-tos, adventure and all the things that absolutely cheers you up.

"I was looking for blogs that were intelligent, funny and varied - but I couldn't really find any. It seemed that most blogs were niche blogs - just fashion, just current events, just advice - and I'm interested in all those things! Since I couldn't find a blog that covered all the topics I liked, I decided to start one of my own!"
Interview with  Sarah Von

Shaan Haider: Geeky Stuffs

Geeky Stuffs is a place where you'll find interesting reads about blogging, social media, technology, gadgets, software and making money online. What I like about Geeky Stuffs is the type of content it offers. Besides talking about serious topics, it has a section called 'Geeky Humor' which gives you a break from just talking 'serious'. Once you land up there, it will hook you up for a good amount of time.

"The inspiration of blogging I got from my friends. My first blog  was The Muzic World which I have started to promote the underground bands and musicians. My friends always used to ask me some technical help regarding gadgets, software etc. So, it inspired me to start a new blog related to the technology and gadgets to share my knowledge. And that is how, Geeky Stuffs started...... Thanks to all my irritating friends for being my inspiration. Lol."
Interview with Shaan Haider

Justin Germino: Dragon Blogger

Justin Germino is popularly known as 'Dragon Blogger' in the blogging world. In addition to blog about technology and entertainment, he also does poetry at "Wanderer Thoughts". His blog 'Dragon Blogger' is extremely interactive and interesting. You might get hooked up to his blog for hours and you won't get bored for even a minute.

"I started my first blog DragonBlogger.com in August 2008 after experimenting with a poetry blog for a month on Blogspot previously. I had been looking for ways to augment my income without having to go out and get a second job. I have a very busy life with two kids and a wife, so I wanted to find a way I could bring in some more earnings without physically leaving my home. Something I can do maybe at night while the family was sleeping. I tend to throw 100% effort into anything I start, and within my first 90 days of starting DragonBlogger.com, I started 2 other blogs and I was already bringing in about $100 per month from the sites."
Interview with Justin Germino

Alex Noriega: Stuff No-One Told Me

Stuff No-One Told Me (SNOTM) is an extremely charming blog, where just one visit will lure you to keep coming back for more. There are so many cool and hilarious comic illustrations by Alex Noriega who is the creative head behind SNOTM. One of my friends recommended me this blog and since that day, I have bookmarked it. Not only me, there are thousands of others who are totally in love  with Alex's illustrations and this delightful blog. An year old blog, SNOTM has really interesting stuff-stuff that was never told to Alex.

"I actually was working for a huge fashion/textile company (I won't say it's name) and I had a very nasty incident with a few people in the office. I also don´t want to explain too much about it, because I'm making a graphic novel about the whole thing, so, you´ll actually get to read it eventually. I started the blog as a way of trying to organize my ideas so that I could actually see and understand what was happening and why. It didn't work as I originally intended, but apparently people seemed to love the little cartoons. At first they were full of anger because I was upset with so many things in my life. Now it's more contemplative, I would say."
Interview with Alex Noriega

"In 1996/7 I wrote an ebook called 299 Steps to Website Heaven, and began blogging to promote it. Before that I had played around with personal blogging but not really considered blogging for business. How wrong I was!"
Interview with Nikki

Jeff Goins: Goins Writer

Jeff Goins is a writer and a blogger sharing his insights about writing at GoinsWriter.com. His blog has emerged as one of the best resources for informative articles about Writing. Besides publishing a successful blog, he has even authored the E-book 'A Writer's Manifesto' in which he shares his frustrations he has experienced as a writer. It has been appreciated a lot over the web.

"I started blogging on Xanga back in 2006. I just wanted to share my ideas. I moved from Xanga to Blogger to an independent blogging platform and for years just shared my thoughts on any random topic. However, this year, I did something different. I focused. I launched a blog on writing and started building a platform to hopefully get a book contract. That was in February. Fast forward several months, and I'm working on a book (with a contract) that will be published next September."
Interview with Jeff Goins

"To be honest it was originally just to gain traffic by using key words for Google. I had no idea the whole blogging thing existed when I started 5 years ago. But within a year or so it was obvious and when people actually started to comment it became a lot more than SEO, but fun!"
Interview with Tim Brownson

Stepfanie Cuevas: The Lady Bloggers Society

"I started blogging as a mom blogger. I wrote about my daily life, about my daughter, and work. This was as a way not to go insane and to connect with other moms. The more I blogged the more I loved blogging. I started The Lady Bloggers Society and started writing about blogging, more of as a way to learn about it myself. In a year it turned into this information center for women bloggers with 3,000 subscribers."
