Tripomatic is founded by a husband and wife team who found themselves in a frustrated holiday experience in Switzerland and therefore decided to fill the gap in accessible, informative planning tools online. Lukas and Barbora Nevosad, co-founded Tripomatic in the fall of 2010, when the stress of organizing a trip to Switzerland gave birth to the idea. The couple met on a Business Studies course in Jyvaskyla, Finland in 2005 before moving to Lulea, Sweden to study e-commerce. They launched Tripomatic in July 2011 and now run a team of 7 from their offices in Brno, Czech Republic.

They didn’t want to have to skip from map sites to tourist information sites (for each city on our tour), back to map sites, then on to hotel booking sites and more. And they were sure that the millions of other travelers could do without that hassle too. So they created Tripomatic; a simple and enjoyable way to plan your holiday – with all the information, bookings, ideas and must-see lists in one place.


























As soon as the idea was born, it was immediately obvious to them as to how to monetize the site. Through affiliate marketing, they generate revenue by connecting people who are planning a trip to those offering the services they might require; travel agents, car rentals, hotels, tours etc.
