Maurizio Savini is a Rome-based artist who creates beautiful sculptures using pink colored chewing gums. They look unbelievable as it is hard to make out that they are being made out of otherwise a creepy material. He has held several dozen exhibitions and also being awarded a Cité Internationale des Arts scholarship by the city of Paris in 2005.

'The reason I like to use chewing gum is because it seemed to me an amazingly versatile material compared to those used by the traditional arts such as painting', says Maurizio Savini.
