In a day, we receive tons of e-mails and we tend to check each one of them 'coz we don't wanna risk missing out on an important mail that might need our attention instantly. But it really puts us off when these emails turn out to be less important and can be read sometime later, since there are other important things that might need our attention. But there are certain e-mails that need to be checked instantly and requires action the very moment we receive it.

For example, when you're doing an online business, and you've already made first 99 sales and eagerly waiting for the 100th one to happen.

Won't you wish to have a different tone for that particular e-mail so that you get to know before even checking the e-mail that yes-you've made it. Well, I have always wished for this kind of solution.

Today I stumbled on an app called 'Got A Sale' by Imsono that notifies you with a unique cash register sound based on a common phrase in the subject of your sale notification e-mails (not only for sale notification e-mail but for any other e-mail notification). It is a perfect app for online business owners, salesperson or anyone else who is selling anything online. If you need a unique e-mail notification sound for your order notification e-mails, 'Got A Sale' is the app for you.

"Be in control of your mobile notification technology with Got A Sale. Used for filtering a sale notification email, an order notification email, or for assigning a custom sound as a mobile notification", as their website describes.

With this app, you can add any phrase that will be in the subject header of the e-mail you're expecting and assign a sound for it. The app comes with a default cash register sound that can be changed, of course. If you've a multiple businesses running, you can even set a unique sound for each e-mail. The app also supports multiple phrases per e-mail. The app is available for $1.99 and can be bought through this link. I would say that this app is worth giving a try as it saves a lot of time from checking spam e-mails that piss you (at least me) off hundreds of time a day.
