Few weeks back we interviewed Tang Yau Hoong, an incredible illustrator who creates clever designs by utilizing negative space in the most creative manner. He instilled a keen interest in this kind of artform within me and triggered my will to find more artists who use their imagination and convert simple signs, slogans, images or ideas into something extraordinary.

Thats when I found Noma Bar, an illustrator and a designer who has published two highly acclaimed books: 'The Many Faces of Noma Bar' and 'Negative Space'. "I am after the maximum communication and minimum elements." he says.



As per his profile:

"Noma uses this technique to its best effect when dealing with social and political issues. Subjects such as nuclear warfare, corporate greed and national identity are illustrated with a hidden twist of humor. His portraits merge the subject's features, with images that epitomize their frame, to form an instantly recognizable face."
