"I don't like hard, heavy materials...I prefer fine and delicate things" says an artist whose art involves working with solid material like steel. His sculptures do complete justice to this statement, even though they are made from steel, but their intricate detailing gives an illusion of delicate threads being weaved to create a three dimensional image.

Shi Jindian, is an incredibly talented artist from China who, "learned to crochet the two-dimensional strands into three-dimensional forms using tools of his own devising."
